I don’t remember how I first became interested in bonsai, but I have been creating and growing them for over 30 years.

My other interests include snowboarding, hiking (mostly in the American West), travel, bicycling, ping-pong, and of course my new granddaughter!

Three years ago, I retired from my second career as a High School Math Teacher (my first was Mechanical Engineer/Inventor- I hold over 20 US Patents).  That led to my interest in (senior) ping-pong, and allowed me a lot more time to work on my trees!

Also- my best buddy has four legs and his name is Max.  Maybe you will get to meet him?
