Quinn Blumenthal is an officer of Princeton University Chess Club, ranked in the top one percent of online chess players. He enjoys helping people of all levels to improve their skills and further explore the game. Quinn is studying physics with a minor in statistics and machine learning at Princeton University in the Class of 2028 and is originally from Fort Collins, Colorado. Quinn began playing chess seriously in 2020 and fell in love with the game’s complexity and room for personal growth. He believes that playing chess teaches patience, pattern recognition, and problem-solving. Quinn’s favorite chess opening is the Vienna Game, and his favorite piece is the rook.
