Claire Brown is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by day but an avid home baker in her free time. She was taught to bake chocolate chip cookies by her mother at age 10 and mostly baked those or cakes from a mix until 2015 when she tried to make a Hogwarts Castle cake and realized that box mix cake cannot support a tower! She found a yellow cake recipe and never looked back, along the way teaching herself to pipe rosettes, smooth the sides of a cake, and sometimes even make a successful ganache drip.
