Jim Barg has been a mushroom enthusiast and forager since 1998, and is a member and past President of the New Jersey Mycological Association. He also serves as an identifying consultant to the NJ Poison Control Center. He has been teaching about mushrooms, fungi,  and mushrooming to classes and groups since 2009.
