Kelly Murphy is a director and playwright, including Shadow of Herself (Manhattan Repertory Theatre), Double Cross (self-produced), and Every Other Yellow and Lend Me a Hammer (Seton Hall University). She is also one of the directors of the Parnassian Society at Columbia High School (12 Angry Men and The Children's Hour), as well as a school counselor at CHS, reminding her students that “theater is like a gym for empathy.” She sees many student auditions and strives to support their growth as young performers and creators of theatre.
