Brent Deisher is a permaculture educator, designer, and content creator passionate about helping people connect to the natural world.  In 2025, he co-founded Sylvalchemy Grove, a small-scale permaculture homestead where he grows trees, wildflowers, mushrooms, and food while experimenting with regenerative landscape practices. Bringing more than 25 years of teaching experience and holding a Master’s degree in Environmental Education, Brent shares practical, hands-on skills that empower people to grow food, regenerate their land, and see their yards as living ecosystems. At Sylvalchemy Grove, he is developing a young food forest while applying permaculture principles such as guild planting, soil building, water management, and ecological design to create landscapes that are productive, resilient, and aligned with nature. Brent is stewarding the land where he lives to restore ecological integrity by planting native species that support pollinators, wildlife, and his family, and through his teaching he hopes to inspire others to take meaningful steps toward creating more abundant and sustainable landscapes.
