 Instructor Description:

JD Solomon, a longtime Westfield resident, is a retired journalist and marketing consultant. A lifelong history buff, he is the author of two historical novels. His most recent, Home News, is set in his hometown of Bay Shore, NY, in 1928 and features a cub reporter chasing a story about a bootlegging gang. Home News won first place in a national fiction writing competition. JD's first novel, The Tinen Killings, is set in Philadelphia in 1898. In retirement, JD presents stories about historical true crime to senior groups and assisted living facilities.
