Welcome to the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School. We are registering for Spring 2010 online, by mail, and by phone.
We have more than 150 courses on tap for this spring, everything from the culinary, creative and performing arts, to financial advice and computers. You can learn a new language or a new dance step. If you ever wanted to take an Adult School class, now is the time!
Registration for English as a Second Language and GED Preparation classes will be on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
We are especially excited to announce that Christine Ebersole, Isaiah Sheffer and Anthony Chisholm will join us on April 12 when we present Celebrity Readings, our annual fundraiser featuring theater stars performing short stories. You may order tickets for this special evening when registering for classes.

You can begin these programs at any time and learn at your own pace. Each course includes everything you need, including textbooks and trained instructors. When coursework is completed, you will received a Certificate of Completion from the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School.

SHORT STORY CONTEST: We are accepting entries for the Celebrity Readings Short Story Contest. Stories must be submitted by Feb. 5 to schoolinfo@somadultschool.org. The winner will be announced a Celebrity Readings. Award: $200 and story published in Matters Magazine.
