Kerry Allan is a dance educator and director with experience teaching students of all ages.
Her previous teaching experience includes university instruction at Drury University, Eastern Michigan University, and Missouri State University; private studio teaching at Randazzo Dance, Springfield Ballet, Arts in Motion, Dance Xplosion, Dance Arts of Chelsea, Dance Steps Studio, Encore Talent, Woodstock School of Ballet, and Springfield Little Theater; and public-school programming at Hillgrove High School, Stone Middle School, PS 158, and PS 321.
Kerry was a founder and Executive Director of Springfield Dance Alliance, establishing a performing community of adult and student dancers while producing concert performances, educational series, and community outreach programs.
Kerry’s early dance training began at Woodstock School of Ballet and continued at the University of Georgia, where she performed with the pre-professional modern and aerial company, CORE. She has had the pleasure of performing and choreographing with such companies as People Dancing, Soul Full of Rhythm, Meaning in Motion, Merge, and Springfield Dance Alliance.
