Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, Justin Vedovelli started playing the drums when he was six years old. Justin graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance in May of 2023 from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. He studied with master drummers Victor Lewis and Robby Ameen. 

Now, Justin can be seen performing with his jazz trio, Flesh World, Rugburn, The Jist, and as a sideman to all styles around the northeast. 

He is on faculty at the Institute of Music for Children where he teaches group drumming, group piano, music theory, and private lessons. He is also a group facilitator at public schools and the Elizabeth Coalition For The Homeless. He performs with Music For All Seasons, an organization that provides programs for at-risk youth, veterans, seniors, and hospitals. 

He loves rhythms and cultures from all around the world, and his mission is to unify the community through rhythm.
