Ready to shine at your next audition? This engaging one-week summer program is designed for middle school and early high school students who love theatre and want to strengthen their audition skills in a supportive, creative environment.
Throughout the week, students will learn how to choose, prepare, and deliver the perfect monologues—both comedic and dramatic—while building confidence and stage presence. Participants will explore what directors look for in auditions, practice making strong acting choices, and receive personalized coaching to help bring their performances to life.
In addition to monologue work, students will take part in improv games, character-building exercises, and creative writing activities, including the opportunity to write and perform their own original monologue. These fun, interactive experiences will help actors think on their feet, connect with their emotions, and develop their unique artistic voice.
By the end of the week, students will walk away with polished monologues, practical audition techniques, and greater confidence performing in front of others—all while making new friends who share their love of theatre.
