Middle school is a period of transition where students deal with academic hurdles and navigate emotional shifts. During this stage of development, adolescents are still refining their executive function skills, which include abilities like planning, organizing, initiating tasks and managing time. The purpose of this class is to acquaint students with fundamental organizational and time-management strategies, while also providing insights for parents on supporting their child's skill development. For both parents and middle school students (including rising 6th graders).
