1320) MARTIAL MOTION: SELF DEFENSE FOR STABILITY

People think that standing one-legged for a minute on a half-ball is going to give them stability. But this is no preparation for the unpredictability of a rumbling train platform, a bustling crowded sidewalk, a room full of rambunctious grandchildren.

Our world is destabilizing by its very fast-paced, unpredictable nature. It constantly seeks to trip us up and knock us down. To protect ourselves in this kind of environment, we need a special kind of self-defense; one that focuses on both STABILITY and QUICK REFLEXES.

MARTIAL MOTION has its roots in the Chinese discipline of Wing Chun; where however creatively we use our upper body, arms and hands (more on that later), the foundation for it HAS to be stability in our lower body, hips and legs. Just like life… in fact, these are LIFE SKILLS!
