Whenever possible, filmmakers and actors will join us live or via Zoom to discuss their work and answer questions. Widely praised as one of the best film series in the world, Arthouse Film Festival has hosted 2,058 movie premieres with 1,286 guest speakers over the past 33 years; among them: Danny Aiello, Alan Arkin, Lee Daniels, Jesse Eisenberg, Ethan Hawke, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Melissa Leo, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mary Stuart Masterson, Viggo Mortensen, Chazz Palminteri, John Sayles, Marc Shaiman, Aaron Sorkin and David Strathairn. Curation is dynamic and flexible. Last minute surprises and fantastic celebrities can pop up out of nowhere, so the schedule is kept as fluid as possible. Students may register for a 5-week session, the entire 10-week series, or opt for a flex ticket which allows them to choose any 8 out of 10 weeks.
