Join DAN LIPOW, owner of The Foraged Feast, LLC., for a two-session class that will immerse you in the culture of foraging for your own food. Dan will guide you through the research and field methods used, as well as cover questions of sustainability and culinary use in the classroom session. In the field session we will enjoy a moderately paced hike through the South Mountain Reservation focused on seasonally available wild food. There will be frequent stops to learn about and collect nature’s bounty.
Wednesday, May 8 class meets at SOMS, room 116, from 7-8:30pm.
Sunday, June 2nd class meets at South Mountain Reservation, from 3-5pm. Rain date: Sunday, Jun. 9, 3-5pm.
