Cooking classes at the CHEC present easy, healthy recipes in an informal atmosphere. Our instructors will prepare the recipes while you watch and share samples with the class, while also sharing nutrition tips and answering your questions.
Classes are open to ages 10 and up, but foodies 10-15 need to be accompanied by an adult.
Sweets, Treats and Spirits:
It's the holiday season and treats are everywhere. Are we really just supposed to turn them down? As in all the time? Really?
In this class we will cover: How to integrate these foods healthily. How to eat the foods you love, mindfully. How to upgrade the recipes for your favorite dishes and make them healthier. What the portions of each of these things really look like.
