Susanna Spies is a seasoned comedienne and actress who has been making the world laugh for decades. Credits include: E-One Entertainment, Uncontrolled Comedy, Netflix, Nuvo TV’s Stand up and Deliver, dozens of commercials, industrials and Indie films. Spies has received rave reviews for her one-woman show: Waisted which sold out in NY and LA and The Dryer where she wrote and performed over 30 original characters. Spies has been a regular comedienne at some of the most prestigious venues like The Improv in L.A., Laugh Factory, the Comedy Store, Laugh It Up, and comedy venues nationwide. As Founder of Comedy Playground, LLC, since 2002 has taught thousands of youth, adults, senior citizens, and companies, how to find the funny in everyday life, and was featured in VARIETY as one of nation’s top ten leading innovators in the Education Impact Report for Innovative Approaches to Learning. She has been stand up faculty at AMDA - LA, as well as Glendale Community College, and continues performing and coaching comedy worldwide on zoom.
