Hannah Tamminen

 

Hannah is an actor and educator originally from Hopewell, NJ. She has taught Acting, Voice and Speech, Movement, and Public Speaking at UC-San Diego, Rider University, New York Film Academy, and AMDA, and currently teaches Voice & Movement in Performance at The New School in NYC.

She coaches clients in presentation and delivery, audition and interview prep, and speech and accent work. Recently, she served as Voice and Text Director at McCarter Theatre for I & You: The Musical, directed by Sarah Rasmussen.

Her stage credits include the Mark Taper Forum/Center Theatre Group, La Jolla Playhouse, Ensemble Theatre Company, Target Margin, Kingsmen Shakespeare, and McCarter Theatre. Screen work includes NCIS: LA (CBS), Colony (USA), and the feature film ReEntry.

Hannah holds an MFA in Acting from UC-San Diego and a BA in Theatre & English from Skidmore College. She is a Certified Teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and a member of Voice and Speech Trainers Association, AEA, and SAG-AFTRA. www.HannahTamminen.com
