I started cooking more than 40 years ago and when I did, I wouldn’t boil water without a recipe! Now? Recipes be damned! I write them myself.

I have a moderately-active cooking blog; I have sold my cookies at Whole Foods; I taught cooking at Sur La Table; I’ve trained at the CIA in Hyde Park; worked at a restaurant at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan … and spent my career as a sports writer, a newspaper editor and a public relations executive. I’m back doing what I love and I hope to impart that on you.
