Spanish I is a yearlong introduction to the Spanish language designed for adult learners with little or no prior experience. Over the course of two semesters, students build a solid foundation in essential communication skills while gaining confidence using Spanish in reallife situations. The grammar covered includes fundamental uses of articles, nouns, adjectives, and regular, irregular verbs, verbs such as “gustar” and introduction to reflexive verbs for the construction of basic sentences. (Classes include pair work, and interactive activities tailored to adult learners.)
