315) Japanese III (continued from the Spring)

This is an advanced beginner level Japanese course for students who took Japanese I and II in previous semesters at Princeton Adult School (or studied equivalent level Japanese elsewhere). The class now focuses on the basis for more complex grammar while working on basics we have learned so far. We will continue practicing practical oral conversation but will tackle moderately complex reading and writing. We will continue working on kanji characters as well.

TEXT: Genki I: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese (Third Edition), Eri Banno et al., The Japan Times Ltd., 2020, ISBN 978-4-7890-1730-5. The class will cover Lessons nine and ten this semester.

NOTE: This course is meant for students who took Japanese courses before at Princeton Adult School or elsewhere. Students who took Japanese elsewhere/studied Japanese on their own and are not sure about their levels, should contact the instructor in advance to discuss preparation for this course.
