Photographs are evocative objects that offer rich, insightful material for the nonfiction writer. In this course, we will explore the work of a wide range of authors, discuss why photographs are important to them, and learn how to use visual inspiration to tell our own stories. Students are encouraged to bring a selection of their own photographs for in-class writing exercises. Suitable for all levels.
