In this interactive six-week course, students will engage with story fundamentals, such as conflict, story structure, and deep point of view. Character goals and motivation will be discussed, as well as how to develop voice and effective dialogue for a novel or a short story. Students will master show versus tell. There will be fun writing prompts and workshopping with other students. Writers of all levels will learn something new and improve their skills. Good habits will be taught and invaluable ways to get words on the page.
