Beethoven remarked that “Not ‘brook’ [in German: Bach], but ‘sea’ [Meer] should he be called, because of his infinite, inexhaustible richness in tone combinations and harmonies.” We will dip our toes into this amazing body of music by sampling Little Preludes, Inventions, Preludes and Fugues, Suites, Partitas, and more, while listening to recordings on piano, harpsichord, and clavichord. There is something to be enjoyed by amateurs of all levels in Bach’s music!
