048A) Intro to Crochet (In-Person)

Learn the basics of crochet and let your imagination soar! When you're done, you'll know how to start and finish a project; how to do single, half double and double crochet stitches; and how to crochet in the round. Design and crochet your own unique monster, or follow a pattern to create an amigurumi! Students will receive information on supplies at the first class.

Instructor

Bernadette Suski-Harding first learned to knit during a high school summer derailed by a bad case of mono. In the years since, she has turned to knitting and other forms of  needlework – among them counted cross-stitch and crochet – to relax and to make special gifts for loved ones.

She is a mom of a teenager, a wife, a freelance writer, an instructor at ACP and the owner of Penelope Plum Designs (www.penelopeplumdesigns.com), where her handcrafted pearl and gemstone jewelry occasionally incorporates knitted and crocheted wire.
