026A) Russian History Through Literature - Through the Eyes of a Child

In these courses you will “read in English, but think in Russian.” Do you want to know more about Russia? We are going to read the books written by authors connected with Russia in different ways; we will observe the life of the family being sent to exile to Siberia and read a memoir of a boy growing up in the orphanage for disabled children. We will share our thoughts with each other and will try to connect the literal with the figurative.
