062A) Micro Macrame Jewelry

Learn to combine fiber and beads to create a statement necklace. This course will introduce you to the materials, tools, and techniques of micro-macramé. We will be using 1mm nylon cord and a variety of beads to create a beautiful wide collar necklace. You can provide your own unique charm pendant to attach or use one included in the materials kit. Students will complete the necklace while learning micro-macramé techniques. This is NOT the macramé from the 1970’s! Class is intended for macramé beginners or those who know some knots but want to learn more about this knotting technique.

We will be mailing out the materials kit (cords, beads, and other components) before the first class. Students will need to purchase a Mini-Macramé Board (from Amazon or a craft store). You will need to register for the class with Princeton Adult School, purchase your Mini-Macramé Board, and then order your materials kit from our Etsy store:

You will have to order your kit by March 30 to allow time for delivery by mail. If you miss the March 30 deadline, please email us before you register with PAS to discuss delivery options before the first class. Please email us with any questions at 2BeadsR1@gmail.com

NOTE: The charge for materials is $30; you must order your kit from our Etsy store by March 30. In addition to the kit, every student must provide a mini-macramé board, sharp scissors or snips, a 12-inch ruler, and a Bic lighter or Max Wax Burner.
