Upcycling is a fun way to access materials (100% cotton men’s dress shirts, Hawaiian shirts, tablecloths, and/or bed sheets) while protecting our Earth and your wallet. These quilts can be whimsical using elements from the shirts (button placards, cuffs, etc., make baby quilts (no buttons!), retirement gifts, and memory quilts. Two leveled quilt patterns, beginner and advanced, as well as thrift shop suggestions (check your own closets, too!) will be emailed a few weeks before class. Supply cost is dependent on if you are new to quilting or not. Two patterns will be offered and need to be purchased in advance.
Cost is approximately $12-$20.
