429) The Early History of Ireland, 400-1700
 

This course will examine the nature of early native Irish society, the impact of the introduction of Christianity, the consequences of successive invasions by Vikings
from Norway and Anglo-Normans from neighboring England, the rise and decline of the Anglo-Norman/English colony in Medieval Ireland, the Tudor reconquest, and Ireland’s involvement in two successive British civil wars in the 17th century.
