435) Revolutionary War: The Southern Campaign

Following the American victory
at Saratoga in October 1777 and
France’s full support of the Continental Army in mid-1778, the British refocused their attention south, starting in Georgia in late 1778. We’ll discuss the battles and strategies of American generals Nathanael Greene, Daniel Morgan, and others that ultimately led to Lord Cornwallis’ surrender at Yorktown in late 1781.
