417) Bowled Over - Creating a Wet Felted Vessel
 

Nuno Felting is derived from the Japanese word for cloth. It is a type of wet felting technique using added fabric details other than  just wool fiber. This  introductory  class explores the nuno process with students creating a 3D bowl/vessel using core and merino fiber for the basic bowl on which it is embellished with added silk fabric, sari silk waste, and other fibers to achieve a unique and beautiful finished bowl design, approximately 3-5 inches in diameter. A $20 materials fee payable to instructor at class by
cash or Venmo
. You will receive a basic kit of varying colored fiber and added embellishments. Other materials will be provided for students at class. Please bring a bath and hand towel to class.
