The beginner crochet class will teach students about different  types of yarn and other supplies, how to read patterns, and the basic crochet stitches. If time allows, students will make a granny square as well. Materials required are a skein of basic acrylic yarn in a worsted weight (4 on label) in a color of your choosing (lighter/medium colors are best for visibility), and G6/4.00mm hook, and tapestry scissors. Materials may be purchased from the instructor for $10.
