Watercolor is a wonderful medium to explore with a sense of play and curiosity, making it ideal for project-based learning. We offer a hands-on approach to developing essential skills while engaging with personal projects that reflect each student’s interests. Whether you’re working from observation, photos, or your imagination, you’ll learn key techniques such as color mixing, value awareness, paint application, and the effective use of materials. For beginners, this class is designed to build confidence and
help overcome common challenges. You’ll master drawing basics, linear perspective, and other foundational skills while applying them to your projects. Returning students will dive deeper into their practice, gaining new techniques combining watercolor paint and ink markers as they refine their skills and tackle more complex projects. You will benefit from live demonstrations, friendly critiques, and individualized guidance. A supply list with materials costing between $35-50 will be provided via email.
