Clare Winslow

 

A native of Washington, D.C. and third-generation artist, Clare's training includes a bachelor's degree in Fine Art, a master’s degree in Teaching, certificates in graphic and web design, as well as years of painting and printmaking at the Corcoran College of Art where she studied with William Christenberry.  Her focus on printmaking allows her to integrate a broad range of artistic interests: drawing, photography, digital imaging, design and painting. Clare’s work has been included in group and solo exhibits at the Washington Printmaker’s Gallery, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, galleries in Washington, D.C, the U.S. and abroad.  Clare's current body of work is united by themes related to ecology and the passage of time.
