Artist Book Lab: In the Style of William Blake (Ages 9-14)

The first artist book was created in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s by William Blake, using his talents as a poet, painter and printmaker in one art piece. Create your own one-of-kind book at the “William Blake Art Shop" combining writing and visual art techniques, such as printmaking, watercolors, pencil drawings and collage. Use your imagination, feelings, experiences and personal stories to write and illustrate books. Be prepared to have your hands busy stitching, folding, drawing, and writing - art books are as unlimited as your imagination! Supply fee of $30 payable to instructor.
