Skills: Introduction to Historic Photo Processes

Students gain hands-on knowledge of making photographic prints using historic non-silver processes. Brief discussions and presentations on each process are followed by student printing sessions. This course focuses on cyanotype and gum bichromate, both of which produce unique images with processes that do not require a darkroom.  Students must bring an image to wok on. Image can be medium/large format negative, digital negative or digital image. If using digital, we will print a digital negative the first session. All other supplies provided by the instructor. Info: gummist@gmail.com. Minimum age 16.
