End-of-life doulas are part of a new frontier in helping individuals and their families participate in natural death care. This two-night session covers how to provide comfort and support to an individual and their family during the final days and weeks of life. Learn how to provide resources, education, and companionship for dying persons and their caregivers. We’ll also discuss ways to work cooperatively and fill in the gaps in medical support systems and hospice care. Students who attend class will receive an End-of-Life Doula Level One Certificate.
