Linda has been teaching T’ai chi chih for over 20 years, earning her accreditation in 1998. After working in the fashion industry in NYC, she was looking for a path towards more personal growth and to express her spiritual side. She was attracted to the graceful flow of the movements but soon found she was feeling calmer, more focused, energized and productive.
She has been teaching in many facilities over the years including: The Montclair Adult School, The JCC in West Orange, The Caldwell Community Center, and The Township of Millburn, to name a few.
Linda describes T’ai chi chih as a series of gentle flowing movements that have many health benefits when done on a regular basis. The movements are a “moving meditation”, designed to circulate and balance our chi or inner energy.
Linda is also a Reiki practitioner as well as a HeartMath (heart focused meditations) coach/mentor. She feels grateful that T’ai chi chih, as well as these other modalities have come into her life and feels inspired to share them with others. She enjoys building sense of community in her classes and to make it a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
