Be prepared to act with confidence in an emergency. This training begins with how to complete a first aid assessment, taking precautions, and activating Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and continues to explore many other common first aid scenarios: control bleeding; treat minor wounds; manage head, neck, and spinal injuries; recognize and respond to concussions, bone, and muscle injuries; provide burn care; respond to opioid emergencies; identify and assist someone having difficulty breathing , experiencing a severe allergic reactions, heart attack, stroke, seizures, and more. A must for parents and coaches. 2-year certification card included.
Park in the lot at the back of the school off Rahway Avenue and enter building through the parking lot door. A site administrator will direct you to your classroom.
