Enjoy a one-hour docent-led guided walking tour highlighting the history, landscaping, and architecture of this 1920s Arts and Crafts-style garden. This century old property is graced by Italianate garden terraces, stately fountains, winding moss-covered paths, iconic follies, whimsical ornaments, romantic grottoes, majestic allées of London plane and spruce trees, and interactive wildlife at the barnyard. In 2022, Greenwood was voted “New Jersey’s Prettiest Garden” by New Jersey Family magazine. The walking tour has some stairs. There are benches available where students can take a break from standing and walking during the tour. No refund is given if rain date is used.
