The assassination of President John F. Kennedy was one of the most cataclysmic events of the 20th Century. Despite two official government investigations, controversy surrounding the assassination has continued for over 60 years. This class will attempt to provide an objective presentation of the best arguments made by those who believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone as well as those who believe there was a conspiracy to kill President Kennedy. The presentation will include a summary of the findings of the Warren Commission and the House Select Committee on Assassinations and revelations from previously classified government documents on the assassination released as a result of the passage of the JFK Records Act.
