207) Figure Drawing

This class will examine the structural, expressive and design factors of drawing the figure from life. The use of line, value, planes, masses, angles and foreshortening will be worked on and employed in drawing the nude and draped figure. Students will be instructed in how to capture the likeness of the figure while constructing an interesting and balanced composition, with an emphasis on infusing an emotive element to each student`s drawing. Each class will start with gesture poses, followed by increasingly longer poses throughout the session.

All levels are welcome in this class.  High school ages 16 and up with parental permission. (nude model)
