701) Getting to Know the US Constitution
 

The Constitution is a blueprint for self-governance by a free people.  Learn the ideas that define the federal government's purpose and its structure.  This course will give you an understanding of the federal Government's relationship with its people, the States, and among its three branches.  There will also be an opportunity to address specific Constitutional issues you would like to learn more about.  Course materials will be the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and, as appropriate, case law and the Federalist Papers, all of which are available online.
