2020) Fall Foliage Kayak Adventure

Experience the rhythms of nature as you align your paddle with the flow of the river and your mind and body unite in a spirit of discovery. The Fall adventure will have the added bonus of autumnal splendor and the distinct possibility of migrating hawks and eagles using the river as a navigational aide.

One week before the trip, each registrant will receive a meticulously detailed email describing kayak preparation, strokes, proper attire and related information for our 11-mile paddle down a calm and scenic section of the Delaware River in northwestern NJ. This information will again be presented riverside just prior to our launch. A short learning curve for beginners assures a pleasant experience on the very first outing. Delight in the beautiful scenery and wildlife as you master techniques, teamwork and communication skills. Safety groups will be established to insure no one paddles alone.

Optional two-person kayaks are available, if registering with a friend. Children must be at least eight years old and anyone under the age of sixteen must paddle with an adult in a two-person kayak. Veteran paddlers are welcome.

Tuition includes rental and transportation of kayaks, life jackets, instruction and guide fee for one kayak adventure.

NO REFUNDS will be granted after the informational email has been sent.
