301) Beginner/Intermediate Calligraphy

This workshop is for anyone just starting out with calligraphy or for those to want to grow and learn beyond the basics. This workshop in modern pointed-pen calligraphy will teach you about the tools of calligraphy, basics in practice strokes and technique, as well as cover a full alphabet. More advanced students will learn how to add design elements to capture the essence of the verse being lettered. Learn drawing skills and color choices for that perfect detail.

At the first class, please have the following supplies:

  1. A straight holder- speedball or any other will do.
  2. Nikko G pointed nib
  3. Sumi ink. Moon Palace or walnut ink.
