359) Crochet For Beginners 1

If you've always wanted to learn to crochet, brush-up on skills, or learn to read a pattern, this is the class for you. We'll focus on basic crochet stitches, how to select the right yarn for a pattern, how to read a written pattern and chart, how to correct mistakes and more all while having fun. The class will make a ruffled scarf.

Supply List: 2 skeins (330 yards) Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend or worsted weight yarn, size H crochet hook (Susan Bates is best), and scissors. (Note: No fluffy, fuzzy, or dark color yarns; too difficult to work with for a first project. Smooth, light color yarns that do not untwist easily work best.)
