382) Open Sewing for Everyone

Prerequisite: Get to Know Your Sewing Machine or experience using a machine. Work independently on a sewing project of your choice with guidance from the teacher.  Students of all levels of sewing experience are welcome to this class.  More experienced students can work on their projects while lectures/demos will be offered to beginner students for part of the class time.  Topics will be chosen based on student interest.

If you are certain about what you want to sew, bring everything to the first class so you can get started right away.  If you are not sure what to do or what type of project to start with, then come to the first class and the instructor will help you figure out the best project for your sewing skills.   Student will provide all supplies and bring a sewing machine in working order to each class.

Bring to class each week:

Sewing machine in working order, including foot pedal, power cord, owner's manual, and any accessories that came with the machine that may be needed for your project. (If you haven't used your machine in a while, test it out before you come!)
