This course provides a basic overview of electrical theory and its application to devices, circuits, and materials. Topics covered include Ohm's Law; drawing a basic electrical circuit; calculating voltage, current resistance, and power in series, parallel, and combination circuits; general building wire properties; conductor insulation with code specifications, and an introduction to the National Electric Code (NFPA 70)
