Veterinary Assisting I focuses to build a strong foundation in the administrative and communication aspects of veterinary practice.

  • Front Office Procedures: Scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, client communication, and managing medical records.

  • Veterinary Terminology: Learning and understanding common veterinary terms and abbreviations.

  • Animal Behavior: Understanding animal behavior and appropriate handling techniques.

  • Restraint Techniques: Learning safe and effective methods for restraining animals.

  • Euthanasia: Understanding the process of euthanasia and its ethical considerations.
