Welding II: Advanced Techniques

  • Focus: Develops advanced welding skills and expands upon foundational knowledge.

  • Key Topics:

    • Blueprint Reading: Interpreting welding symbols and blueprints for welders and fitters.

    • GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) - Advanced: Advanced GMAW techniques, including different welding positions.

    • SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) - Structural and Flux-cored: Advanced SMAW techniques, including structural welding and flux-cored arc welding.
